Today in class we looked at this newspaper article
http://www.newschannel5.com/story/14288428/children-worldwide-fold-paper-cranes-to-support-rebuilding-effort-in-sendaiand now we are making paper cranes to help donate money to help with the damage the earthquake, the tsunami and the nuclear fires are causing in Japan.  Every crane that we make will earn $2.  Our goal is to make $2,500 so we need to make 1,250 cranes.  We are asking for help from parents, grandparents and other students in our school and other schools.

The cranes are not easy to make, so we are bringing home instructions. You can also look on YouTube for a video that has step by step instructions.  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSijU52XJ7w)

Thanks for helping!
